Not including my own feeble attempts at making"custom" boards, Marc Andeini has been my go to. first was a 9'3 Vaquero.

Late 80's early 90's (can't quite remember) Custom 5 fin Bonzer from Malcom. It was around 6'6 and had Red Flames which made it go very fast!!!

Mine was a 9'6" Phillips pig in 2012. 1" redwood stringer and a rising sun D-fin -- no need for color, just let the woodwork do the talking. A gorgeous board that rides like a dream. It was a wedding gift from my wife (with input from me), which was totally rad.

My first was a 9'6" log shaped by the Dirty Glassing guys in LA circa '01. They were ding repair dudes trying to get into shaping. It wasn't pretty, and it may've been a dog, but I loved it regardless. Can't tell you how many times I went over the falls on racy Malibu beach breaks with it. Also had many fun sessions up and down the coast between Ventura and Carp. I moved east and left it in the care of a buddy. It rotted in his backyard.

A 1967 Challenger Eastern. Reverse T band with 1/2 balsa on each side with a 1/4 inch piece red fish wood in the middle. I loved it. I'm pretty sure Tinker shaped it. I stripped the glass off it and reshaped it. Tom Eadon of Rise surfboards reglassed it. I sold it for $15 and the guy still has it...

I have it's brother in my collection. It was ordered the same time as mine by a friend, they were made sequentially. Picture to follow.
