I would recommend an APE edge or furrow if you’re trying your first edge. The edges on those are a lot more forgiving. The wilderness edge especially seems very extreme. Just my two cents.I'd love to find a used edge stubbie in this range. Open to one with side bites as well.
Prefer a used one to get the feel of it before i go all in and order a custom..
Ooh 9’2 special k edge... now we’re talkin. There’s always a handful of new ones in beach house in sb if you’re near there. I was there a couple months ago and remember seeing one in their used racks too. Could be worth checking out if you’re up there one day. Thanks!
I have a 9'2" Andreini Special K Edge and its very forgiving - looking to take it up a notch!
Nice find. Definitely something going on with the rails. Maybe tri-plane?This board is in great condition with mild pressures and a couple tiny professionally fixed dings. Fins are available at a discounted price with all surfboard purchases.theboardsource.com
I can't tell if it's an edge board, giant chine rails or the lighting hitting the laps, but just in case...
