    Siddartha, Demian, The Glass Bead Game...my first year college English Lit teacher was a huge fan of Hesse, and had us write a treatise on each of those books during the semester. If his books did nothing else, they made you think about the deliberate path vs blowing in the wind...

    Later in life, Hesse wrote less and painted more..

    Just finished Brian Castner's book The Long Walk. The stark reality of war and life that follows. I'm awaiting his new book, Disappointment River, finding and losing the Northwest Passage. Now reading Walking the Nile by Levison Wood.

    Favorite book in a while was 'Astrophysics for People In A Hurry' by Neil Tyson...really ties it all together

    Love his mitch rapp stuff..the movie with
