Small Seaside Fish - quad and RNF 96' Twin plus trailer handle most everything in Central America. No lugging all the extra foam/bag size etc. Critical to be able to duck dive for me.

Modern pope bisect. A place in Long Island puts them together. Marc and Kirk had one made for a trip of theirs. Tricky thing to get done with Marc on the west and nature shapes on the east. Shipping an unglassed blank is not so doable

Whatever board you are most comfortable with and already has a ding or two. No glass on fins.

Dare I say it on a longboard forum, but only travel with short boards if at all possible. Carrying longboards through an airport gets old real fast. Smaller planes will only take under 7ft board bags so you want to look into that if you are transferring planes.
