I've made many longboards over the years. Trying to get one to skate how I surf. Tried almost everything out there and this is my "Frankensteen". It's 9 ply marine grade, lot's of flex, has a little swayback from over the years that decreases the turn radius. Xkate trucks with the black bushing. They had four different bushings you can use depending on how you ride and your weight. What I like about them is they dont have that "snap back to center" memory. It's smoother and more cushin ride. I run Turner Avalons 68mm with no wheel bite whate so ever. Harder material up front for more speed when leaning forward and softer for speed contron when leaning more on the back.

Nice MDM.
Do you skate for them?
Early 2000s slalom racing made a come back and there was a lively race circuit on both the east and west coast. We all rode Turners , IckSticks,Comet, Pocket Pistol and Roe decks. It was a. Amazing time and I met lifelong friends . I raced on the Roe team the last couple of years .

Nice.
I never got into slalom. Leftcoast and I have done some serious downhilling though. back when longboard skateboarding wasn't around. We've left quite a bit of skin on the asphalt over the years.
