‘05 Cambroghini. Paid for. Fits an 11’ glider inside. 156000 miles right now. 50000 more to go. My wife has her Tacoma. Yes this is my daily driver not a spare car for surf etc. If I were you I’d go Tacoma longbed. I’m gonna do that at 200000.

2000 Ford Ranger with a topper. 265,000 miles and still going strong. Pickup trucks are the shit. I can bring a boat load of stuff with me, have a place to chill and can sleep comfortably in the back on longer trips. Can fit up to a 7'4" in the back with the hatch closed, and if I need to secure longer boards, I lock them to the racks up top. Would love another pickup with a longbed, but it is hard to beat a truck with a 4 cylinder engine and a full sized bed. Wish manufacturers were still making trucks like this.

With that budget, you should look into the 2020 Ford Transit AWD.

Otherwise, my 2002 Forester is pretty rad, gets 27mpg on trips, and doesn’t scream, “I’m a giant douchebag” when I pull up to surf.

Have an older GMC Yukon xl Denali...Suburban with bigger engine. Fits everything and everyone. Lots of rattles and kind of crummy build quality, but reliable and paid for. Good call for large family.
