How's the new board going?
It’s been a learning curve. It must be 3-6 pounds heavier than my balsa. I’ll miss a wave, or bottom turn and keep going until I get over the lip.

however, today... I feel like i unlocked her. I had near 10 waves. All of them smooth transitions from bottom turn to trim to top turn back to trim and so on.

I like leaving my board on the rocks at low tide for a few reasons.

I like changing back into my clothes down there. Keeps my feet free of sand. Also, I like to scavenge for abalone shells and fins and what not. I’ll walk my board up, once I’m ready to split.
