I've been seeing a variety of twin fin boards lately with keels, close parallel deeper fins, and everything in between. Any of you who ride them, which fins do you use and why? I'm picking up a Zippi twin next week and planning to get keels, but open to suggestions.

I like keels on my 5'6" swallow tail, glassed in. Works for me.. Just saw a great clip of Asher Pacey, guy rips on anything but loves his twinnies..

Lovelace makes a nice twin that’s between a keel and upright twin called the piggy back. True Ames makes it.

I’ve got a Zippi Fish, great board came with his keels which work great, super fast and drivey, changed to some CI template keels with a shorter base, looser but still plenty of drive
I got this board years ago, and I remember he took the order, shaped it and I picked it up at my local airport in less than 3 weeks
    Is he still making boards?

That's my understanding. I have a friend who loves his, so thought I'd try one. The only twin I've ridden is an old 70s 5'8" Bolt. Way too squirrely.

I make a number of different type twinnies. The 5'3' that Derek Thomas is currently riding is inspired by an Asher Pacey board he'd been on and enjoyed a lot.
Here are his comments on how she goes:
"This board is really fun and it’s one of the the fastest boards I’ve ridden. ”Echo” is the name of the model and it’s a twinny from @fowlersurfboards This one is a 5’3 collaboration between Fowler Surfboards and Aviator Nation. It has a really buttery cruise control setting and shifts back into high performance mode quite easily too" Echo 5'3" Derek Nicaragua 2019.jpg ECHO DEREK'S NEW TWIN.jpg
