What's the rocker like on that Hobie? Looks like the perfect thing for stealing waves from SUPers on tiny summer days.

It has some rocker but not like a modern board. I would list it as a Wall Hanger, but at 38 lbs or thereabout, it's more like a wall crusher. I always joked with my Montauk buddies that one could paddle this one chanting "RAMMING SPEED!!" to clear a crowded break. (for those Animal House fans out there).

That stringer is seriously impressive. Balsa and darkwood?
