Do you have any surfboards you just missed on OfferUp or CL that keeps you up at night?

About a year ago a backyard surfboard got posted on OfferUp for $25 and I responded in 4 minutes. The person selling let me know I was 2nd in line and, being a stand-up good dude, rejected my offer over asking to let the first person in line have priority. There are many other boards I have missed that I still think about, but this one haunts me the most. Pics of the board below speak for itself.

Do you guys have any similar stories or boards you just missed that you still think about? Would love to hear about it.

As a new Jammer I’m really stoked to be a part of the community. I’ve been a long time lurker and am excited to finally get in!

Recently saw a Lyle Carlson-shaped fish, super clean in my dims for a song, contacted the seller and 5 minutes later the post was removed.

$2,000! Holy smokes.

I saw images of the board on my Instagram feed recently but didn't know it was listed on OC CL for $2,000.

This one goes way back, but sometime in the early to mid 2000s there was a Jim Phillips balsa longboard in unridden condition for sale around $1100. Still think about it every once and a while.

Just recently saw an older Beatty rocket fish on CL in Southern California. Think it was up for no more than $300 and had the creamiest yellow epoxy color.

If anyone snagged it and wants to pass it along hit me up!

Still bugs me that I hesitated on two different 70s Jeff Ho boards at different times. Both had very cool graphics. Learned my lesson, but can't stop thinking about them even now. I did manage to snag an 80s version years later, though (pictured).

Sure was a steal at $950.

No reason for Mark not to charge that much for a custom either in this day and age.

It’s the worst feeling when you miss it and it all of a sudden comes up for 2x the price. I missed a Larmo double eagle once for $300 and it was up the next day for $1,100
