You know on the deck of the pirate ship there is a little R2-D2 with no paint
    Always loved that

Do we need to send a "wellness check" to applekat's place?

When the kids were young we watched it over and over.

Love it. Watched Stand By Me the other week and enjoyed the parallels between the films in that they both have a vomit story, and Corey Feldman

Stand by Me is one of my favorite films. Goonies is a classic and the first movie I remember seeing as a child in the theater.

We recently watched Goonies with my 7 and 10 year old daughter and it's one that stands the test of time. They both loved it. We usually have a Sunday movie night and have enjoyed revisiting classics from our childhood with the kids.

Goonies made roughly 6.52 times its budget, compared to iron man’s 4.16.

So, if you invested X dollars in either movie, Goonies would have been more successful for you.

Oh man I tried to get my kid to watch Goonies on Friday night... she didn't even make it through the trailer.... no interest at all.

So then I showed her Gremlins trailer... at first she asked if they were real and if we could get one... then it turned into that toothy reptile and scared the crap out of her.

Kids today are soft... When I was a kid we went to school... it didn't come to us over the interwebs!
