    Anyone know of anything?

What type of wetsuit do I need for march? I have a 5/4 and hood/booties/gloves.. Is that enough?

Is there anywhere within 2 hours of victoria?

Jordan River, hour and a half from Vic....a 5/4 should be fine, be mindful of the extreme tides, and especially so the locals.

Tofino looks to be about 4-5 hours away.

River Jordan and Sombreos is about 1.5 and 2.5 hours from Victoria respectively. Tofino is aways and takes about 4-5 hours or longer predicated on road conditions. This time of the year it's a toss of the coin to two different surf venues, i.e., Straits verses the west coast of VI. River Jordan has a couple of good breaks but as Lance indicated, the side currents can become a tread mill. The place has always had "locals" that feel they own the place. Your hooded 4/5mm, 5mm booties and 2mm gloves will serve you well.
