Going to be there next Saturday, current forecast is calling for strong north winds. Looking for advice on spots for different conditions. Not looking for your secret spots, just wondering what my options might be. TIA!

What’s the access like (park, walk, etc.)? Is it a beach/reef/point? Thx!

This might sound a bit old fashioned but why not get a map and check out the spots that are protected in a northerly. Who knows, you might find a secret spot..

I always do that, but what looks accessible on a map isn’t always that way. I’m just asking for feedback, not solely relying on these answers, although I super appreciate the info!

No "protected from North wind" options. BUT, , , , and I am not familiar with any of the inlets North of me, if there is a fairly strong outgoing current during the change to low tide, the current can usually cut down on a lot of the wind chop and let the south side be ridable. At Monster Hole it can "almost" seem glassy.

The inlet north of town get a wrap swell that peels along the channel and a north wind is offshore
