So... New job and commuting is going to be part of the deal for this position. So, a new small and fuel efficient car is in the works. I doubt even my 9'2 is going to fit in the car, and after work surfs keep me sane. Any ideas on a good, lets say 8'6 or so, log?

i've seen some looong boards stuffed inside a prius with the passenger seat down.

back in the day I had a GTI that would fit a 9'2" inside.

take your surfboard with you to the dealer and pick a car from there. anything with a hatchback should fit something decent.

A TDI Jetta Sport Wagon will fit most logs and get 45mpg...

I'm looking at Golf, civic hatchback, really small and cheaper transport. The idea
that a gti held a 9'2 is interesting. I thought of bringing my 9'2, in a bag, with me, but figured the sellers would think I was a nut.
