Shorter Channel bottom singles

Unreal Eavey. I like the diamond tail for our mostly mushy, small waves too.

I had a 7'0 x 22 x 3 1/8" Dewey weber feather fastback that I really miss. I had the same experience as mentioned above where it really turned on in better surf. But the FF has a pintail.

Trying to figure out something for the everyday around and I’m an absolute sucker the diamond tail
We took the planshape and size off an old diamond tail bonzer Eavey made for me but pulled the tail in a bit
All research on the size and channel depth and length is positive. We are fine tuning for the next several months.
Trying to loosen her up a bit backside. Think new fin and a different approach will be key
Holds great and I can still go vert when I want

Not a Single fin, but Derek Thomas has been riding a 6'7.5" Twin I made him for the last year at his home base in Nicaragua with great results.
He says the board is super fast, loose in the smaller waves, but with gr8 holding power in the bigger stuff. Props to the inspiration from Col Smith & Torren.
