Camo one was supposed to be two colors. Screwed up on the lap and got resin on the bottom…rookie. So then I spent waaaay more time laying down the camp pattern. I really like the way it turned out. For sneaking into those mysto spots.
The patina one was one of the best lams I have done but I already had this in mind so it got all covered up. Cookie crumbles…blah…blah…blah
I'm continuing to add to my "Build Ahead Buy-it-Now Inventory" of different Models in a wide range of styles & sizes. Seen here is one of the "Deja Vu's" I just picked up from Haakenson. There are several 8'6"s in different versions but I specifically made this one a "Big Boy Version" with a ton of float at 8'6"x24"x3-1/2". It's glassed with a Double 6 oz. Deck & a 6 Oz. Bottom with Tail Patch in a 2+1 Fin Box Configration for Fine Tuning. Fully Glossed & Polished featuring the Dual Stringers in a Colored Wedge of High Density foam.
This one will Tick All the Boxes for Someone sooner or later......... I guess it' a 'hypothetical custom for some future owner'......
Hmm, says "The uploaded file was not an image as expected." Recent photos are displaying this while other previously taken photos will load fine?
Anybody have any wisdom regarding what's going on?
Oh well, until I figure that out here's some other eye candy (there's another half dozen clear ones on hand) all 6'6"s.....
My first start to finish 11’. Felt like I walked a million miles shaping it. Keel fish loosely based off of my buddies. Classic weight foam with a 5/8 darkwood stringer. Lots of volan and self made glass on zebra keels. I have come to learn nobody makes enough for any steps involved.
