Great looking outline @WesCantDress. I’d love to hear a ride report as I’m planning a very similar bottom shape on a 6’8” wide tail. Outline will differ and WP FWD.

how far back is the WP? It looks perfect to me. Nice balance.

Real nice man

Will definitely put up a ride report once I get it wet! WP is about 3.5-4" behind center. When it comes to the planshape, I take no credit. There's obviously a number of guys who pioneered this design; and I'm simply looking and learning from their photos and boards. Lynch, McTavish, and of course Hilbers, Caro more recently, have been my direct reference point for this one. The balance is just a result of that.

Been working on these - fall in between an SOS and L Spoon. Feels like a long hull in forward trim. 9'4 pictured.

Thanks. Feels pretty good. Very user friendly. Can drive pretty hard and it goes on rail well. Good for days when it's not quite enough for a hull and too much for noseriding.

Just shaped this one up for a friend.
He was looking for a 70s “looking” single fin. WP pretty far forward. Rounded the tail some and used bottom contours I used on a board he loves I made a year ago for his trip to Costa Rica.

getting glassed now. He wanted neon/lemon yellow and bright blue on top
