    last full day in Edinburgh, was in contact with Jason Burnett of Jay Surfboards and made arrangements to meet up with him at his shop.
    It is located on the grounds of 16th century Newbattle Abbey in WWll work shops.
    Another builder so far removed from the hustle and having to glean every speck of information from mag pics and Shaping 101.
    Every mistake was one day closer to not doing it again and as a result has made him a good reputation in the relatively tiny east coast surfing population.
    Nice to see around the globe are craftsmen still looking to build a quality surfboard they are proud of.

    Stories that need to be told, listened to and nurtured for the craft to move forward. So cool.

    Lots of talent out there in remote out of the way locations. Just getting the proper materials has to be a major hurdle to over come.
