Stopped into the Russell shop yesterday so my nieces could rent some wetsuits. I was really impressed with some of their shapes. I'm looking for first-hand experience with their boards and how they ride, particularly the shortboards. I looked at a model that really interested me, a quad fish with a concave deck. It's not on their website, buy the guy called it their swim fin model. I may be needing a board for travel next summer, this looked pretty versatile. Any insight you can give would be fantastic.

Also, the RBZ looked really fun, though smaller wave focused

They are a legit shop thats been around for decades. I have never personally surfed any of their boards but they have a good build quality. I do have a custom off a guy who used to be one of their ghost shapers. Its a great board. I say go for it!!
