side..TA fin...next to my fineline hull...mystic mini simmons
sorta off the subject...but here's the new board
it's the white one
top..again the the white one
here's the shaper's description..
"a basic san deigo fish up front leading into a double bump roundtail..taking the corners off the usual swallowtail shortens the rail line, pulling it in further with the double bump narrows it up even more for tighter,in the pocket surfing with the glide associated with fish-y designs, nose can be pulled in even more for a more vertical attack,"
i think i had him do the later..i think..:?
Anybody have an opinion if Hot Gens work only front side?
they swing both ways:shock:
Not all that hully imo
ride more like a flat rockered dished out longboard*minus all the bulk. the only thing is that the tail is pretty wide so if its a pitching wave a backhand take off could get dicey
i.e. not the best board choice
(scaled back Sam inspired things)
You can ride one back side without too many issues but I prefer going frontside. I just took mine out yesterday and had a blast on it.
So these HotGen turn from the middle of the board with a narrow stance? Sounds like my kinda board.
Anybody have ride reports...feedbackon sub 8' hot generation...phd ?I have a chance to get a 7.6..
I want to order one but can't get ahold of Brian? Anyone have an 8'5" HG they want to sell?
