Two boards ,one day. A Hanel I ordered mid April, and a Rusty off marketplace….
Can someone ID the signature on Rusty for me? Looks like a 92’… obviously handshape..
Pretty much as excited to wax the cheap one as the new one, it’ll have to wait..

It’s looks like a gun(and it is I guess), but at 22 1/2” wide with all the curve in template I’m visualizing it starting to be useful in as little as ceiling high surf.. probably a couple months til I can use it here on west coast…. Cheers

My pleasure. At nearly 55 years old, I've seen the progression of gun dimensions over the years. It's not uncommon nowadays to see 9' guns 22"+ wide. Personally, as a big(er) fellow, I don't want a gun less than 21" wide. The added width helps with chasing down, and catching, big waves at the local beach break. Like you I'm anxiously awaiting Fall--come on baby!
