Took this out again at my local BB 11’4 navitimer goes real good feels a lot smaller handling wise. Early entry fade into light speed directional change at the and n trim thru the white wash to shore.

@cheyneskeezer Curious how you'd compare this to your other (former?) fish Simmons?

New one for Gil R.
Ran it the 121 miles from my house in Solvang to Wavefront Ventura for easier pick up for the customer.
Light Blue Cut Lap Resin Tint Gloss & Polished Finish. Haakenson did a nice job....... real eye pleaser. Woulda taken more pix but was
hustling to get home and back to the shaping room.

First board I ever custom ordered, from a local well-known shaper. I sometimes do a long drive to a long, powerful point break and wanted an eggy shape for when it gets too big and hollow for my longboard (at about OH). New stick is 7'6 x 21.5 x 2.75, fairly fat and forgiving under the chest but chisel-thin around the pintail.

I've taken it out a few times with different fin configurations but just couldn't hit the sweet spot... (too much rocker imo, and no real glide) but today I put in a new 9'' Volan PHD fin and... yes, the board came finally alive.

Craigslist score! Ryan Engle parallax in poly. 9’ and nice and trim compared to the rather chunky Thunderbolt versions. Took it out this morning at C- Street and had some absolute screamers. A keeper to be sure!

Here ya go! Rounded, hull profile up front, transitioning to really hard out the back. Hard edge starts about 2’ from the tail. I’ll take a few more closeups that show the profile better.
