my daughters fiance (great guy), bought an absolutely cherry mid 90's Synchro pop-top last year for their camping and mountain biking get aways. Fresh engine, all the 4x4 components refreshed, new paint and interior.

"Must have spent some coin on that, Scott, 30K?

Thumb comes out, and prods skyward.

can never see an older VW van without being reminded of Jeff and his old microbus, our frequent driver during teenage runs to Santa Cruz. After surfing for the day, we'd torch a couple on the way back up #1, always a thrill with Jeff.
Cause when stoned everything made Jeff laugh, emitting this crazy squeal as his head rolled back and his eyes closed. And because our crew was a non-stop Don Rickles heckle show, whoever was riding shotgun next to Jeff was tasked with being ready to grab the wheel everytime that squeal started and the head began to roll back...

Starts at $30k and that does not include the price of the base vehicle! (Another $25k?) I would just buy a barely used RV at that point. Or get a minivan, pull the center seats and sleep on a thick pad and then spring for a motel room when slumming it does not sound good! Could save tens of thosand$!

55k you get a full RV. It has everything a RV does.

I like RVs too but certain ones are too big
