As I just wrote on his blog:

"John: Both sorry and happy to hear you're retiring. Sorry that far fewer folks will be able to get JC fins and boards, but happy that you'll have more time to spend in the water, with your guitars and with your honey.

    Cheers and happy trails, sir!"

Guess I'll never get that Simm 21 I've been lusting after. Good for him. Glad he is happy.

John was great to work with on building boards or fins. Wish him the best in retirement!

Does anyone know what happened to the 50th Simm-21? The one with multiple wood stringers. I was waiting to see pics on his blog but they were never posted.

John came by to see me a short while back, he was completely disgusted over the assclown attitude he had gotten from a potential client, he said that is it, I'm over it, I don't need this crap.
