I can credit the early days of this forum with springboarding me into winter surfing. The zipless hooded Rip Curl I bought from you back in [oh jeez... 2003?] was my first winter suit. It was the investment I needed to stretch my surfing season beyond the warm water confines of summer and into the chilly months. For everyone else: Pat was nice enough to invite me into his house, show me his collection of great boards, and show me some sweet surfing footage from a surf trip to CR. It was a good introduction to buying things here on the forum -- which, let's face it, is technically buying stuff from strangers on the internet. It never really feels that way though.
