Hilbers Stoke

This past week, I spent an hour with my 7’ Micro Ant III shoulder hopping big waves that had turned small. So so buttery smooth. If this makes sense, it felt like a more shreddy duck diveable Vaquero. Own both boards and love them for different reasons.

Tried running the Micro Ant with an 9.25 A-Flex and 9” PHD. The PHD, in the middle of the box, is the spicy sauce.

I respectfully invite other Fineline cultists to share their stoke in the hopes that the universe draws Hilbers back into the shaping bay.

Had a magic 6'4 Fineline single fin egg. The one board I wish I didn't sell.

Here is a 6’5 Fineline Egg 2+1 that was passed on to one of my southern bruthas. They are out there, my friend!

I sold all mine so others could be stoked. Perhaps some day things will circle around and I will own another. View attachment 43657
shady loaned me the brown one a few years back. I surfed it a bunch and stoked on all the foiling and ride. A shaper buddy rode it too and took detailed measurements. He remembers lots of the characteristics. I believe it influenced his shapes. So good!
