Always been intrigued by the curved FCS fins... but never found a pair when I was looking. I'm looking forward to a ride report.

This is my experimental board. Working with Jim Hines on a new custom, and trying to figure out what bottom contour and fin setup I want to go with.

Nice you have a Hines connect. He's an outside the box builder which is always appreciated.

Neighbor and good friend. You won’t meet a nicer more genuine guy. Really meticulous in his work and a lot of thought and knowledge goes into everything he does. A true craftsman.

Rode the board again today in head high, slight offshore lined up waves. Rode it as a twin plus trailer with the curved fins and the small trailer fin. Fastest board I’ve ever ridden! The board has a concave entry that transitions into a pretty good size spiral vee with deep double concaves inside it. I think the curved fins work well with the double concave out the tail and keeps the water going straight out the back. Going to be at Trestles for the next four days, and I’m anxious to see how it goes there.

On the same theme but not as much curve , I used to ride Lokbox turbo keels in a Pavel Fish...it lit that board up like Bonfire night, made it turn like it was on tracks.
