So sorry for your loss. RIP. But man, what a life! If someone's life story includes "human cannonball", even tangentially, then they lived it right.

    AMEN CW.

SnF - Sorry for your loss.

My Mom had an Indian proverb on the fridge when I was a kid that stuck with me...
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.

and since I'm sitting here crying, seems like he did it right.

My deepest condolences to all those that knew and loved him.
Looking at the Photos you get a small sense of who he was. He looks like the kind of guy I wish I had known. Aloha Gaz. Maybe we will meet on that outer reef beyond the Horizon.

Man...thanks for this beautiful tribute Snf.
In it and these pictures is the inspiration to lean into the rail on the kindness and courageous side of life, open to becoming a person more like this, and to have genuine friends more like you.

gotta think that those who know you, Keith, would say you already have that rail fully engaged :)

this blog that Gary maintained for a number of years documented a core to the bone surfer fully engaged in the physical world around him

The picture atop his blog taken on a magic day which just three of us shared, and left us hoarse from hooting for each other.
