Thinking of possibilities for the next board. Ride reports, opinions, lengths, pictures, etc. on these two or other similar boards/shapers welcome!

I can provide you with a historical on mine and a model description if you desire it, however, there are plenty of guys riding them all over the globe and they've turned into a bit of a cult following.

Perhaps some of those folks belonging to Jamz can chime in with their take on mine & comparisons to Marc's McVee, Hot Generation, and other such sleds. Peace. IMG_2552.jpg Here's a pic to get things started.

Andreini hands down out of those two but you’re not giving a lot for details.

Marc's description of his McVee aligns exactly with my experience. Very maneuverable, catches ripples, no sliding out and way more agile and speedy than any log I've owned. Mine is a 9'4 and @sightpoint 's 8'4 and both work great. Highly recommended.

As you know, Miz, I am of same opinion. The ANDREINI custom 9' 1.5" stringerless McV that i've been riding over past 3-4 years is one of 2 boards that i reach for most often when at San Diego North County longboard breaks. The 10' Michael Miller egg is the other board, FWIW.

Fowlers have a heavier vee that goes out back. Marc's are flat out back. Fowler's are hull entry to flat center to vee where Marc's are hull bottom's I believe. I absolutely recommend trying a Fowler V8. Mine is 8'6 x 24 1/4" x 3 1/4" Using a 10" velzy classic. The thing is a monster paddle machine but easy to maneuver through crowds. I agree so much..
    My 8.2 x 23 3/4 x 3 1/4 ..with a true ames 4A 9.75"
    Paddles like a fiend....makes steep drops ,
And still turns a tight radius...and has..with plenty speed to burn
