NS3

Not So Secret Spot
.....when the world was a much different place, as is the way of the world
NS3 still works but honestly, not since you and the crew were there. When then sticks would hold extra sand and the lefts were long. Yes we have new jetties but NS3 is not the same...

Public and mysto
Avalanches (not telling)
J-Bay (not telling)
The Box (Hess named his little board after it)
Muff (RIP) it was near the box, go figure... got trimmed and flattened. I'm not joking, but its humorous

Less publicly said but less mysto
Bleachers - still delivers but the beach is currently getting a manscaped and might not have the same amphitheater vibe it had before. TBT
Mandala Reef - Past its glory days but I'm forever hopeful. Gone by way of dredging a few years ago and further because of recent rebuilding of jetties and sand distribution. This place was my favorite. It's not a reef but there were many days when Mandalas were the dominate shapes in the water. It has worked a few times in the last few years.
Fowler State Beach - what a few of us called a spot in midtown around the time that Danny DiMauro was ruling the lineup/popularizing the Stoker. Was very fun to watch him take off behind the jetty to the consternation of the shortboard crowd. Some days there were 6 fowlers in the water at a time
