To lighten the mood I’d like to hear and see your favorite one board along with a single most memorable story of a day On it

mine is my 7’7 coopefish circle v I acquired from gene. Right place right time always being the pesky devoute customer of genes since my first custom in 2009 he offered it to me for a hell of a deal after I had bought his 8’8 circle v.

kinda hully with the a great ability off the back foot .

well anyways me my wife and son took off too El Capitan 2 new year eves ago on a wimb. Got skunked surfing drove back early New Year’s Day morning and moped around the house. Noticed the winds were looking real good and jammed down to my local beach break and got a amazing afternoon of wave after wave of 3-4 ft offshore waves. Something about the cold air cold water offshore breeze and a sunset tie it all together.

9’-9” Fineline Ant. This board was a custom for Cuda that he replaced with a 10’-2”. It went thru croweater and Stringer’s hands before landing with me for the rest of its days. I have not had a bad session on this board as it is pure magic. I have a 10” velzy classic template fin hand foiled by seniorgrom in it. Action pics by Cpg. Lots of jamboards love in this board. :) upload_2020-3-16_6-42-57.jpeg A7F9CF38-DA7D-4DCF-A241-2A185295DC27.jpeg 52F07D8B-ACEF-4A7A-B9F3-BBD972F1A05D.jpeg 1D7FABC3-1261-45F1-A623-F99605FFCAB6.jpeg DAA5E44B-E52F-492A-B8B0-D81FB92DF9BD.jpeg

In honor of the OP's board of choice in this thread-

9'6 x 23 x 3 Cooperfish Hornet that I believe can be traced all the way back to miscreant-
Absolutely incredible board that I rode everywhere and Anywhere.
High speed full rail turns on clean open faces and trimming the craziest highlines in good waves were its 007 specialties.
Those perfectly foiled/bladed rails, rockerline, and heavy glassing made all that possible despite my atrocious and fully for shit at the time undeveloped longboard style, but that has left the imprint for my favorite longboard planshape.
Bing PTLW...and Tommy Witt or Thomas Bexon Tugu?- Oh Behave!!

It's pictured here at my grandmas house in NY with my first Van- '97 Dodge Ram and the Ultimate soldier and friend still serving to this day- my Specialized Allez steel bicycle.
I took this trip to pick up another Hornet for Surph back in my younger, more brash, I'll go anywhere for jamboards days!

Killer thread and thanks on the memory.
Still looking for a deck shot and up close of the stringer with that blue foam.
Epic board, and epic early kooky times!
