I understand a board is worth as much as someone is willing to pay, but also amazed at how some peeps think their s#*t is gold. I'm all for capitalism and free markets, etc, but it cracks me up when some people are questioned and the lost belief they hold that something is worth so much. Amazing what antiques roadshow did to so many markets.....
Thought it could be a fun thread to post up some examples......

I thought crack made you sell stuff cheap. Or is that meth?
Yeah, it makes you sell other peeps shiz you stole cheap, but in the colloquial sense here, just referring to peeps w/ their heads up their arses.....
Like this guy:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/70-GREAT-ZEUS-SURFBOARD-VINTAGE-SHAPER-JIM-PHILLIPS-ONLY-50-WEREEVER-MADE-/291037434207?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43c32ed15f

As much as I love Jim's boards, and I'm dying to order one, this dude must be shooting crack (yes it can be done, and again, a using it as a figure of speech here)

I don't remember Hobie having a fin like that in the early 60's, maybe late 60's or 70's

Maybe $700.00

That Zeus, I saw one at the used surfboard shop for $600.

Think these guys want you to bend over and smile.
