  1. $200? WTF. The difference between east and west coast prices is astounding. I'd snag that thing in a heartbeat if it were out here....

Yeah, it's a nice board and as long as the delam repair was done well, then it's almost the deal of the century!

Could certainly be sold, but worth contacting the owner.

Another Tyler on the block....10'0"; no model specified. $699. Listed as being in Topanga. His description below.

10' Tyler longboard in good condition with single fin. Custom shaped by South Bay local shaper Tyler himself out of El Segundo, Ca. $699 OBO, includes bag n leash.

Next up is a Boss, the usual 10'0" size. Looks to be in good shape, but pix show wax on the deck so heelies, etc. can't be seen. If interested, I'd strongly recommend calling or emailing this guy and ask him to send along pix AFTER he's removed the wax.

Boss boards often are glassed with 2x6oz decks and sometimes have their fair share of dents. More importantly, have them send along bottom pics to make sure there aren't any stresses (the nose and tail steps often engender stress cracks, top and bottom). And always ask to make sure the base of the glass-on fin is solid and doesn't have any cracks. $550 This is somewhere in OC (not listed in ad).

I have a Great 10' BOSS longboard, lime green in color, Awesome noserider... Give me a call... 714-916-3870 I am in and out so leave message please...

I love Bosses and will have one again. As always, no connection whatosever to seller, no first hand knowledge of the board, etc., etc. Just a head's up.

    Good luck,

If'n you're looking for a more HP, beach-breaky kinda stick and you're in the greater El Lay area, this 9'2" Jon Wegener looks extry-clean and bright, bright white. Says Hancock Park/H'wood area. Big, clear pix in the ad, too:

9'2" Jon Wegener single fin, round pin longboard surfboard. Excellent condition - no dings or repairs. I have another board that's similar to this one so I'm letting this one go. She's a thin beauty. 10" fin included. $360. 9'2" x 22 1/4" x 2 3/4"

If you're down SD way and want a 10'6" Phil-shaped Becker UFO, here's one basically brand new for $500 OBO. Wood tail block, lighter glass (6oz) so not too loggy. Phil Becker doesn't shape much (at all?) anymore, so there aren't many clean Phil-shapes around. Not THAT many, anyway. Phil Becker deck lam. You probably could start your bid at $400 and the owner would probably jump on it. Not a screamingly amazing find or anything, but a good deal.

10'6" X 23" X 3 3/4" Becker UFO Model, Shaped By Phil Becker, Used Once By Novice Surfer. $500 Obo Trade For 5'-5'2" Mini Simmons. 760-207-4342

    Good luck,

    Hey All-

I've heard good things about the Becker JJ Wessels model. I've never surfed one but I've seen these in person. This one's a 9'10. They're glassed 2x8+1x8 volan and they've got a nice noserider shape and rocker (flat entry, tail kick, soft rails and a slender concave). The list on these is a modest $725 (about standard for a Becker, because they're glassed in-house), but the despite the price, the quality of the lamination is good.

Seller's description is below the link and the board sounds as close to new as possible and comes with a bag and it's just $450 OBO. As always, no connection to seller, etc., etc.

This board was ridden only a handful of times and has literally NO blemishes whatsoever. It is a Pastel yellow color on the deck and rails with a pin lining of brown on the bottom surrounding a beautiful fabric inlay of browns and yellows. This board is a piece of art.

Will include a padded bag for it as well that is worth over $60! $450 OBO

    Hey All-

Happy Sunday. Hope it's a beautiful day with firing waves whereever you may be.

Here are some very interesting boards. None are "cheap", but all are decent buys for the niche market buyer.

First up? A 9'8" Harbour Cheater II. For those who like stepdeck boards that bend (like the Cheater, the Boss, etc). these were discontinued four or five years ago and they're pretty hard to find. Not cheap at $750, but it's a clean looking candidate:

Second up today is a 10'6" Hynson HYII. Clear and volan finished, it also looks to be in very good-to-excellent shape. Dude is asking $800 but prefers to trade for guitars, a Macbook or a Vespa. Neat looking board with tailblock and two offset stringers.

Third up is a new, vintage looking Jack's Surf Shop D-finned triple stringer lovely at 10'0". A sweet amber finish with deck and bottom straight pins (8 per side). A Terry Martin shape. Gorgeous. $700

Last up today is a vintage '64 Hobie Phil Edwards triple stringer, 9'11". The guy is only asking "best offer over $500". Looks like it needs work, but a vintage, triple stringer Phil for $500?

    Happy hunting.

    Hey All-

This guy has marked down his 10'0" Boss about $200. Apparently "needs cash". It's now $450. Looks pretty clean and these go for $1375 when you can find one. Coke bottle green.

There's a very clean "excellent condition" 9'6" CC Slider in San Clemente for $750. These run just under $1300.

See the icons website if you want to check prices. Both are good-to-great deals if you're in SoCal (or visiting). Good luck.
