You may well be right. Anyone interested in either of those boards, you can get in touch with DanO at

Sweet boards. I've seen some of these in person and they've gotten very nice reviews from the riders. And here's the link to the Pignar page:

Wow. Some of Roger's best work; those speed dialers look great. And, naturally, that 10'0" balsa is purty slick and has got my eye. But didn't I just order the Terry Martin? ;)

If you have the means, get one.

I've never had the chance to ride a DanO but love the look of them especially the Hog and the Pignar. I could be wrong but I think the Pignar has now become the Super Nar Nar. I was really close to placing an order for one at the end of last year but things changed. One day though I hope.

I thought the real Bunker boards were all sub-6 feet, ridiculously thick with huge downrails, squared-off tail like you simply cut the end of the blank off and a giant fin in the back. TSJ had a great shot of one inside their front cover a few years back.

There were a lot of really weird boards that Bunker rode. Amazingly weird and in lots of lengths. Some were sub-5 feet and like 4" thick. Several were among the ugliest surfboards I've ever seen.

Here's a link to the Hawaii auction I was talking about, a '69 Bunker board--interestlingly, a 7'7"--fishy kinda stick, shaped by Rick Value, in what looks to be perfect shape. This is the one that sold for $6300.

    Hey All-

It's the week before Xmas and it seems like the deals are coming out. Here's what appears to be a very nice condition 9'8" Anderson Josh Farberow I for an asking price of *$295*. Obviously, ask about condition before visiting--especially if the fin box has been broken out or anything--but it doesn't look like it. Venice Beach.

    Hey All-

Another great deal ran across my radar....this is a 10'0" Weber Stylist a customer brought to me before he sold it. Had a cleanly done delam repair. Board is definitely heavy (the guy says 30 lbs) and I'd bet he's right. But it's a nice board and well worth the *$200* the guy is asking.

    It's in Goleta.
