Looking at that board, the fin boxes are pretty far forward. Lots of tail out behind the boxes. That type of setup is not my favorite, especially for steeper waves. On twins, I prefer the boxes set further back for better hold.

As others have mentioned, you could try some bigger fins first to see if that helps. Also, try to keep an eye on where your back foot is, if you are taking off and popping up more towards the middle of the board the tail will slide around on you. You need to make sure your back foot is pretty far back on that type of board.

Rather than semi keels, I think bigger uprights would be the call. Maybe some of the NPJ Flying Diamonds ones? I have a set of his upright twins (not the flying diamonds) and they are massive. Alkali make a big upright twin as well that could be worth a look.

Agree 100%..... fin boxes are way forward on that board. I'd try ENs or something with some rake to settle it down.
