Really nice looking shape. Have you ridden yours yet? Having specific issues with it?
I have. I rode yesterday in 4-5 foot fast beach break at Avalon pier in Hatteras, NC. It felt a little tricky and slippery? I nose dove on the 1st wave and slid out on the next 2 waves I am coming from a Thruster background mostly 5'7's - 5'10's for last 40 years, however I recently got a 5'8 keel fin fish last year that I have grown to love it in all size surf so I thought I would try a larger 6'6 fishy outline twin fin. And I had heard good things about the Nautilus in good deep water waves. I am more of back foot surfer so I think it user mostly user error and will take some getting used to?

I'd think with the longer rail line you'd want to set your fin/rail asap. I've found I slide out or lose speed altogether on longer twin fin fish if I try and take a swooping bottom turn from take off. Thrusters offer those pivot points which you now don't have.

I don't think it was/ is the right board for steep, super fast beach breaks (and I kinda thought this paddling out) but I wanted to try it. It is 21 inches wide with wide point forward... I would have felt more comfortable on the thruster. They were also lefts and I am regular foot.

The rocker is probably more suited for a San Diego style wave, or days where you can roll in on the outer bar before things get too steep, but I bet you'll be able to make it work. If those fins felt squirrely, maybe try something with a little more base/surface area or something like a semi keel type fin to stiffen it up.

Yea I took a little risk on this because it is a new model and not many ride reports and no video footage on it yet, But I think it will do well in a waist - chest sorfter conditions.
