now water is seeping out through the glass on the bottom.

I don’t know if it was glassed with moisture in the blank or what happened.

but now the bottom is sweating water.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Could be that you have pinholes in the lam that sucked water due to temp differences?

The only weird scenario that I can imagine leaving water in the blank is if the glasser spackled it prior to glassing since it's a tinted lamination... if he mixed the spackle with distilled water to thin it (I know that some people do this, I could never see it, myself) and then didn't let it fully dry out before glassing... that might do it.

Shame that you're having such a bad experience with this board!

the board feels super rough and so maybe it wasn’t water tight and water sucked in?

    here is some more pics

Near the end of Channin’s reign he started taking EPS to a south County glass shop.
One of his clients was on the hill a some time later with his carbon/S glass board they had done. As we talked I looked up to see a stream of salt water pissing from several places.
It evidently had not been sealer coated and the lay up obviously had pin holes in it, the client said upon me pointing it out to him, “!it felt like it wasn’t as light as it first was. “
This is why I seal EPS with an epoxy mixture before glass, my hi-perf had dried salt on the corner of the tail, the tiny shatter was nearly invisible, but still let water in.
Poly foam is individual cells, EPS beads stuck together from steam, the pathways between the beads in a highway system for water to migrate.
One of the labels I did at my Florida factory had a shortboard that for months drained a coffee cup of water every day before it stopped.
I broke a leash in Hawaii and my board went into the rocks, it was 3 years before I fixed the dings and was sure it had no more water in it

    @shapewright
    Thanks for the input

That’s my fear. I think this board is unfortunately trash. I don’t know how it could be fixed at this point

the glass I can touch is full of pinholes and it’s absorbing water like crazy and now it’s coming back out through them

blue please no more questions or updates. There are not enough answers to the messed up surfboard question to cover this water craft. Defies the imagination!! Just trying to lighten the mood but how crazy is it too that you happen to be 6,000 miles away from the person who needs to make this right. I feel for you.

Based on the fact it's now developed piercing eyes I think it's probably possessed.
