I didn’t know that.
churches and DMJs in Oceanside/San Clemente May get packed for those who have access
Last I heard Del Mar beach and marina and SanO beaches were closed, do you know different?
I don’t. Sorry.
beaches on the Marine base in Oahu are open for surfing so thought was the same in California
Here is what I know. The beaches in Orange County were open and people came. Unlike San Diego beaches, they were open for sitting and non-exercise use. Many reports say that social distancing from non-family groups was being observed.
EVERY photo that I have seen is a telephoto shot, which foreshortens the view to make it look like everyone is clumped together, and does not provide visual perspective as to actual spacing.
San Diego beaches have opened, but only for active exercise/activity. No sitting, gathering, games, etc. Only active use of the beach or water. I have not seen a single instance of the overcrowding cited as the reason for reclosing the beaches - every beach!
So, even if Orange County abused the order, they are a single instance and don't reflect other beach openings/use all along the coast that fully follow spacing rules.
Gov. Newsome again exerts his ineptness at leading and making sound judgements. People should note this and remember it.
Yea that’s a pretty ridiculous thing for him to do and quite an over reach
