Have really good pal begging me for work at his glass shop, finished a custom while I was in Portugal and dropped it off to Dolly to ship.
The art, gloss and polish were on the same plane as these posters.
He did NOT take the board, first board in a half a century that the client said, “ no fucking way”

Moreover, this pinpoints the necessity of two hands building a board. From start to finish.

    Jim shapes it. Then what?

All builders are at the mercy of the glass shops, even the in-house operations have their share of problems.
There was a time I had to do all the labor myself, but could not exceed 3 boards a week, not enough cash flow to maintain a full fledged factory.
The underground is the way to go for the one mans hands on approach.

Flames, surfboards, barrels and crazyass smiles. And flames
