You know it Murph. Those old braided fuel hoses can look fine but be dry rotted, brittle, and cracked under the fabric. They are not expensive. Good maintenance item.
Love my VW LT35.
Economical and plenty of space.
Mine's a 5 seater with double bed in the rear.
Been on a big trip in it with the wife and 3 kids free camping along the way.
Mostly our 2 girls slept in a tent we pitched next to the van and our 6 year old son slept next to us in the van.
We had 240V power through a battery/inverter box so the kids could still play on their computers along the way.
Keen to do a snow trip again this year with it.
Update! Since I got out of school I've been getting to work on the bus. Got dual Dellorto's to get rebuilt swapping out the single weber. Lots of body work to be done but getting the rear corners tacked on today. the inside was stripped and por15'ed
the dream in the drop a ej22 in it soon
