It's wild, I'm in Encinitas and it's pretty similar here. It makes me wonder who are all the people on his waitlist then.

Same, I was out at Pipes and someone asked and had no clue. I will say another guy (younger) slid by and a simple “nice andreini” as he was passing. I feel like it’s an in the know kinda thing. But for San Diego, unless you’ve seen his boards at the Boardroom, are on JB, or know someone who has one, it’s extremely unlikely it’s crossed your radar.

But at the same time, the other good side is keeping the list down. Bob is kinda like that too, although he has bords in Hansen’s and Bird’s but most dont know his broader SD connections.

Met Marc at the Del Mar board show today. As sweet and gentle of a human being as there is. Nice feeling to support good people.

Most people think HMB is the Harbor, south to The Ritz. Even living here I often screw up Princeton, Moss Beach, etc… In north county Carlsbad isn’t Oceanside, Lucadia isn’t Encinitas, Solana Beach isn’t Del Mar and Del Mar isn't La Jolla. But sometimes it’s easier saying Carlsbad area for instance.

I live in El G and can throw a dirty ball of wax and hit Marc’s house from mine. I’ll go on a walk with my daughters and we’ll see Marc digging in his yard or I’ll see him walking down by my house and the farm.

Fun fact (or not ) in El G you automatically get a PO Box address and you go to the post office in “downtown“ El G to pick up your mail. If you want mail delivery, you have to have your address be HMB and then buy an approved mail box and post and add it to your areas local mailbox cluster. There are these little 7-10 mail box clusters all about El G.

Curious what a "split" vaquero is?

Here are some pics of a bisected Vaquero. There are two long carbon fiber rods that connect the two sides. Four titanium bolts hold it all together. Fits very nicely into a manageable bag size that can go in your cars trunk. I think I’ve ridden the one that Marc just sold. Seemed to ride the same as any vaquero edgeboard designed for a 70 year old knee paddler.
