Thanks for your review!! I was looking for a beach break noserider and had seen the apex but wasn’t sure if it was for me. After watching your review and your comments on trim and maneuverability I pulled the trigger on an apex. I’ve been loving the board but am looking for another fin for it. I emailed flying diamonds and they recommended a 9.5 involvement fin. I think next I’m going to get something more like the true Ames Wayne rich fin.
I personally really like the 10 inch sub by flying diamonds. Although in my review I was using a 10.75 Thomas fin by fcs I have made the Sub fin my go to in that board. The Apex is a great all around board for sure. Enjoy and any questions reach out.

I recently got a 9'11 mostly from reviews here and Hodaddy's video. Using the FD power flex in 11" and absolutely love the board. Really genuinely surprised how much I like it and how well it surfs.
This makes me happy.
