New(or probably used) car purchase coming up soon. Sequoia is nice but the V8 is a bit thirsty for CA prices. Wondered if a 4Runner could fit a 10’ Noserider inside it(glassed on fin). I often surf before work, so I need a vehicle that I can lock up my board in.

Can't comment directly on the 4Runner, but as far as other Toyota's go my 2005 Lexus RX330 can easily fit a 10' board inside. Not sure about later models.

I have a 2006 4 runner, my board is a 9'9, I just put the board in straight up the middle, it's touching the windshield and right where the rear glass would be. If I took off the head rests, adjusted the front seat and angled it, I think it would probably fit inside.
Typically I just lower the seats, roll down the back glass and let it hang out. Sorry for bad pic quality it's dark out.
Love the 4runner as a surf/beach vehicle it's awesome!

2019 and 10 footer easily fits inside if you angle from rear over drivers side rear seat towards the front dash and rear headrests just fold down without having to remove. Best feature is that rear window (4 Runner and Sequoia) opens up/down so you don’t even need to open hatch and even longer boards can stick out a bit with the window closed 80%. Think Lexus is a rear door with window that opens out vs up and down.

I have 2014 4runner and love it. My longboards fit inside but I usually only use boards up to 9'6". Have factory crossbars and they work great too. Rear window is the bestest.

Buy the 4runner and if the 10ftr doesn't fit it's a good excuse to get a slightly shorter board. Win win.

Love the 4 runner!

If I remember correctly my 10 footer fit no problem. And when i purchase a new vehicle I always bring my biggest board along and make sure it fits before I buy. My 10'6 fits in our Subaru outback no problem.

Just checked and 10 with glass on fin slides in fine. Only 1-2 inches of space between windshield and nose. Have replaced at least one windshield from having to stop short with board inside.

Yup, did that with my Crosstrek. Problem with the Crosstrek is that a 10’ board will fit end to end. It’s the overhanging tail(glassed on) that creates the issue. Guess I could open up to the option of an Outback.
