This is dope. I love these things. Esp when they get raised. Fun mobile!
Hey, Kyle. This one isn't actually raised but it does have big ass tires. I have ridden in both this one and my son's Tacoma and my Sequoia on the road up to Cloud Cap on Mount Hood. Its a forest service road with big rock (not gravel) and the Delica is actually the most comfortable by a long shot. Such a fun ride!

cool as it gets !
The right hand steering could take some getting used to.
Hey, Cuda! I was worried about that too but this little van is so skinny, you don't really even notice when you're driving. The thing that IS hard to get used to is being the passenger. First you try to get in on the wrong side and then you keep grabbing for the wheel. :)

That rules. Might have to sell the Subaru..
You totally should, Human! You'd get better mileage, have a cooler ride, be able to take six friends with you, keep your boards inside.... The list goes on! ;)

7083 (1).jpeg I own a 1995 Delica and can vouch for the fun factor. The right hand steering isn't hard to get used to, the only problem I have
is going from the left hand steering in my VW to right hand steering in my Delica, I keep turning on my windshield wipers when I want to use my turn signals

Here's some light reading for anyone interested in purchasing this killer rig and then registering it in CA.

It is 100% doable. Don't let the dorks on Expedition Portal or other "overland" forums discouraging you from pulling the trigger on a Delica.

Thanks, KDenning!

I really hope someone from this crew ends up with this little van. Although my son only uses it for skiing and in the mountains, it would be such a killer beach rig!

My buddy had one of these years ago in SF. Black and white, looked like a badass panda. Such a presence every time he pulled up to the beach. Good luck man!
