thumbs up for the Xcel Comp X series...much more flexible than the Drylock, same interior plush, less expensive... have both a 5.5/4.5 and 4.5/3.5....only negative is not having a hood brim to block sun glare while paddling
6" would be a good call...and a Futures Performance LB fin is another good choice for 2+1 set-up, one of my fave's....with either 6" just stick a set of Future SB1 sidebites in and good to go...
lot to like about those shapes...pulled tail and fin cluster is fairly clustered, so be easy to overfin.....depending on model length, 6" to 7" Dale Dobson with TA .3.25" sidebites...
The standard for complete detachment repair is for the arm to be completely immobalized for the first six weeks post-op , held tight against the chest in the sling. Than 6 to 10 weeks of range of movement rehab with the PT, than transition to home program. A year for complete recovery.

Had a board shaped by a former long time CI shaper (will keep his name out of this) who'd just bailed from CI after the Burton purchase...very bitter about the changes, watched his price per board get cut in half, part of the plan for scrubbers to replace shapers...CI was merely a vanity pickup...
