I used to own that board, also, it was totally gorgeous. I bought it to fight the crowds at some of the nearby reefs but it was a bit too much board. I traded for a cooperfish hornet and haven’t looked back. Congrats on that totally amazing Davenport.
Thanks for the response. The reason that I remember the one I rode is that it was pretty soulful, actually. Glassed way heavy, pinched rails, ashtray tail, big glass on late 60s fin. This was years back and I pretty made a full quiver switch to traditionally inspired craft.
Ya, I was lucky enough to attend one of their later shows on Halloween In I think 2008. They were so good, and lux was absolutely wild. Definitely didn’t fade out slowly.
