I got a what i ride board and i love it. It's what i ride! But i have a silverspoon and a Jim Phillips pig just for variety. Actually i haven't had enough time to try them out but that's my excuse, the pig is just a passion after watching old flicks i think but it is all good till i trade it for a morph out of Jims collection of designs. I look forward to those days but i still don't live where days i would like to ride it ever come around when i'm available to surf, and all the other excuses. I like the thruster set up on my R A cause i'm a charger, not a good one but what i am used to doing cause i grew up riding twin fins and dreaming of thruster boards, there was a time. Anyway, that's where i'm at at this point. Man would i like to advance.

This lurker has been riding a Wingnut II for the last few years. Fast board, but it gets touchy when I try to get up to the nose. I get more cheater fives than noserides, but I still enjoy that board.

My post from a few days ago is gone. It was about my RA Alex Knost model. I have a 9'6" and it's my #1 log for many years now (got it from Island Sports, of all places). It is the basis for the Gato Heroi Death Dagger. It's got the pinched rails, belly and narrow square tail. All around great board, fast paddler, etc ... I've tried a 9'2". It also felt good.

RA no longer makes this model. Alex Knost has moved on to other things. For awhile, you could get it as a "RA Retro." I don't think that is the case anymore.

That's my one and only RA data point and it's a good one. But, I've heard all RA boards are now made overseas

Cuda: sorry to say this is a board I cannot part with. I saw one on clist last summer and should've bought it as a backup.
