Just a few quick pics of a new Oak Foils longboard.
Wayne named this one 'The Birth of Cool' after the Miles Davis classic.
The board was colored and glassed to match a Cooperfish (or maybe Cooperdesigns) that I had seen a while back with "masking tape" yellow over a blue foam stringer. Some of the pics are super overexposed and the color doesn't show up as well as I'd hope, but it's still pretty sick.
I think I'm going to mess around with a Heritage 10" and a Farberow 9.5" and see what suits.

| Exactly. Of all the boards I've ever looked at, that one really spoke to me... never seen it in person, but that picture was enough for me to keep it in the back of my head for some time now... sweet looking boards.

I'm really liking that colorway too. Simple, clean. I really don't like yellow despite owning three yellow boards. But that one's more of a yellow chiffon. Or lemon yogurt. Really nice.
Oh yeah, good looking board too.

That outline reminds me a bit of a Weber Stylist I used to have. So this your third board from Wayne? What are the dims? Let us know how she goes.

Yes
Thank god my wife doesn't keep track or I'd be in the dog house!
Had 'er out with the Farberow in some negative tidey el porto close outs today -- certainly not the 'ideal setting' for the outline, but the board felt really stable and comfortable in the steep. More to follow.

The board looks mighty sweet, but your lawn needs a lot of work

Nice board, part of a pair along with ZC 1888.

Wayne is making some dam good looking boards. I am going to order my next board from him. I am doing some research to see what I am going to have made up.

Are you sure it's not more of a saffron, or a papaya-whip, or even a peach-yellow? Whatever it is 10'6", 24", 3.5" yup, me likes them dims.
