Any up date if these juvenile GW are still lurking off Carpenteria/Summerland beaches. Kids are really wanting to swim out to the
plat forms at Carpenteria.
Ive been out in schools of fish, literally in the middle of it where i would hit a couple while paddling and always wondered what was going on down below (never bothered to check though) i figured with the rest of the guys in the lineup i had a good shot at getting away.
6ft+ Thresher, didn't make it to the boat. Off Oceanside two weeks ago.
What wait a min, there’s sharks in the ocean?
No- there are not. There are only selfish surfers trying to keep people out of the water. No such thing as sharks.
Then again, a few years back on a so so day at Swamis, , , , I took a poll of who had ever seen a shark while surfing. Only one person, besides myself, a young lady who saw it at Jacksonville Beach!!!
Yesterday off Oceanside - https://fox5sandiego.com/2018/06/27/local-woman-paddles-to-safety-after-apparent-shark-attack/
