I’ll take a gander. Always like to look at new Boards.
Checked out Bruce’s page. Board looks great.
Bruce is so great to work with on it
I worked with Bruce a few years ago. I wanted a Platapus only scaled up to 8’6” at that time he was only shaping them to around 7’ 10” It took a lot of back and forth. The fin set up is a 4 plus 1 useing Robin Mair Gear Box fin system. I have a bunch of Robins fins that work well in that Board. The Board came out fine. His newer longer Platapus model look a lot better. You can tell he has put a lot of thought into the design. I have always liked the Idea of wide point behind center, creating a cockpit. My other board is a Robin Mair Highliner 9’5” It also is wide point behind center.
I have been thinking of getting a another shorter board like 8’0” or 7’10”
Awesome to hear ..artz..
Yeah my next 2 boards
Are from bruce...
Mini max...for my mini sim urge
And a platypus...um not sure which order..
Bruce has been refining the later alone with vbottom..and vmachine..( heck all hos models for thst matter)
Im thinking the later might replace my vbowls..
What I really need is to get out in the water more. Use what I have and get out of this re-kook stage. Fine tune my skills and then work on finding the right Board. Some jammer from Miam just sent me Message he has a 7’ 10” V machine he wants to sell. 23”wide and 3” thick. So tempting.
I dunno artz..
That...vmachine sounds like my new
Vmachine, Vmachine, Vmachine!!!!!
I’m the one selling a 7-8 VMachine.
Board rips! I rode it at 225 pounds and now at 175 pounds. Only reason I’m selling is bc I just received a balsa version from Bruce in 7-6 and I already had a 7-6 soooo.. this 7-8 was by back up to my back up V machine. Board is in Miami Beach. Can be demoed anytime if anyone is curious how they ride.
I might just take you up on that demo. I’m in Vero Beach.
